13A4 - "The Wealth of the Indies"
The Spanish proverb He who would bring home the wealth of the Indies must carry the wealth of the Indies with him is the basis for this class on giving and receiving. If we wish to be true ministers of God, we need first minister to ourselves, making sure we accept the wealth of forgiveness within. Otherwise, the gifts we give each other will be laced with the ego’s illusions of the ego’s special love and separating kindness, instead of the all-inclusive compassion that heals as it unites. To receive the gift of healing from the Holy Spirit is how we give it, and to give His gift is how we receive it.

13A5 - The Ego's World: "A Faulty Formulation of Reality"
A Course in Miracles tells us that the separation is “a faulty formulation of reality” (T-13.VIII.3:5), as we can never be separated from the oneness of creation. It must follow, then, that the world that arose from this errant thought must also be “a faulty formulation of reality.” The inevitable question follows, why would we ever put stock in what the world teaches, let alone in what we experience as the body we think of as our self? And so, Jesus wonders on our behalf why we ask for the truth of our reality from “the only thing in all the universe that does not know” (T-20.III.7). Yet to hear the Voice that does speak to us of truth, we need only look at our faulty formulations and decide against them. This three-day class will explore how we accomplish this simple task of salvation.

(Available as a 3-day package or single days)

Cancellations for any of the programs listed below will be given a full refund less a $20.00 change fee.

13A6 - Training for Goodness
Confucian philosopher Hsün Tzu wrote in the third century BC: “The nature of man is evil; his goodness is only acquired by training.” A Course in Miracles would concur, in the sense of our need to be trained to unlearn the ego’s “evil” thought system of sin, guilt, and fear. This makes room in our minds to remember the goodness of the Atonement. The miracle is the means our inner Teacher uses for this training, as His gentle guidance shows us how to generalize our practice of forgiveness to all people, all things, all events. We are taught to see in each one the opportunity to choose our goodness over “evil,” truth instead of illusions, and vision in place of judgment.
